Lil Dribblers host monthly meeting

Levelland group members and parents got together June 8, to talk about the upcoming season of Lil Dribblers. The group had a meeting to talk about some topics such as finances, photography, coaches, etc. Their main concern were the parents of the kids and how they can be outgoing at some of the games they host.

The members have not yet come up with the set pricing of the tickets for the season but they have ensured it will be announced as soon as possible.

As for locations they have set up some locations here in levelland such as the Levelland High School, Levelland Middle School, and South Plains College gyms.

Most, if not all, locations will have enough seating and parking for everyone that attends the games, as well as an accessible concession for the parents and kids that are participating. As for security there are still discussions about how many officers at each location; one thing for sure is that security will not be an issue at these events.

Another new aspect of what they’re trying to do is set up a livestream and stream the game if any family members can’t make the game or if parents want to go back and re-watch their kids play, it is still not for sure about the livestreaming but they may add that in the near future. As well as concession stands they were also thinking about implementing VR codes for paying with your card instead of everything strictly cash, again not for sure this year but maybe in the upcoming future.

The next meeting for the group will be July 13, at 6 PM. They will have a meeting once a month all the way up till March to talk about ongoing issues if there may be any.
