Elizabeth Greenhaw and Christian Lujan were married August 12, at the Monterey Church of Christ in Lubbock, with Gary Head as the officiant.
The bride wore an ivory gown with a chapel length chain from David’s Bridal that was a v-neck topped with a beaded lace mikado bodice and tulle skirt, and a few tucked into the skirts under layer for extra detail and dimension.
She also wore a waistband inset at the sides which gave a beautiful finishing touch. A pearl and crystal belt added to perfect touch to the wedding gown.
The bride’s hair was done in a beautiful waves with baby’s breath woven throughout braids in a half crown manner.
The brides bouquet was made of Italian Ruscus, and black Israeli Ruscus.
Music used during wedding “You”ll Be in My Heart” by Phil Collins, mother and grandparents walked into this “A Whole New World” by Lea Salonga and Brad Kane, Brides walked into this Recessional was “Best Day of My Life” by American Authors.
The church decorations that the bride chose were a Black Forest theme with juniper green, black and ivory with the elements of pine trees and forest branches.
Flower arrangements were done by Sugerbee’s and a bridal bouquet included Playa Blanca Roses, Scabiosa Scoops, Veronica, Lisianthus, Ying yang poms, Agonis after dark, Black Italian Ruscus and Broadleaf Umbrella Fern.
The Maid of Honor was Jana Jones and bridesmaids included Sterling Pruitt, Rachel Starr, Mackenzee Clepper, Marisa Lujan. Serving as Junior Bridesmaid was Kathryn Brown. The attendants each wore dresses of beautiful chiffon fabric in juniper green caring small bouquets of white playa blanca roses, black Ruscus, white Scabiosa scoops, green broadleaf ferns and black Agonis wrapped in black ribbon.
Best man was Jonah Ortiz and the Groomsmen were Ethan Bowland, Philip Archuleta, Kyle Greenhaw and Kevin Greenhaw Flower girls were Madison Brown, Harper Cummings. Ring Bearer was Cade Post son of Steve and Michelle Post. Vow Carrier was Colt Post son of Steve and Michelle Post.
Rehearsal dinner was held at the “Monterey Church of Christ” hosted by Steve and Cindy Newsom. Reception was held immediately after the wedding in the Great Hall at “Monterey Church of Christ” where the bride and groom entertained guest and enjoyed wedding cake and refreshments before they left. The Brides cake was a four-tier vanilla cake with butter cream icing made by mother with love with all the color and flowers to match her bouquet.
There was a private family dinner later that evening where the bride and groom had their first dance to “Only Us” by Ben Platt and Laura Dreyfuss. The father and daughter dance was had with “When God Made you My Father” by Riley Roth. The mother and son dance was had to “Slow Down” by Nichole Nordeman. “You Raise Me Up” by Josh Groban was played as the family dance song.
The couple plans to honeymoon at Disney World and Universal Studios in December.
