Loboettes beat Lady Mats, 3-2

The Levelland Loboettes played their second district game of the season this past Tuesday against Estacado where they won the game in a good one, winning 3-1 taking the last set 25-19 and moving to 1-1 in district play while being 14-17 overall.

The Loboettes started off the game well as Addison Campbell and Tanaesia Brackens combined for four kills in the front two sets while the team as a whole had a combined 13 kills.

The third set of the game is where there seemed to be a huge momentum shift as Addison Campbell was able to get six kills along with Tanaesia Brackens and they were able to play physically and get the much needed win in the third set to take it 25-16 and help the team take the lead in sets leading 2-1.

The shift in momentum was able to overtake the team as they would rack up 14 kills in the third set but add nine more in the fourth as they would win the set 25-19 in another dominant win.

The team was able to bounce back from their district opener loss to the Sweetwater Lady Mustangs as they grabbed a much needed win as the home team this past Tuesday.

The Loboettes faced off against the Lake View Maidens this past Saturday as the away team to play their third district game of the season.
