The Levelland Loboettes great season has come to an end to the Mineral Wells Lady Rams this Monday as they lost in three sets.
The Loboettes came into the game chasing a lead as they came out and had to catch up from the Mineral Wells high powered offense as they did not have an answer for their gameplan.
The first set was the closest of the sets as they lost 25-20, the girls were trying their hardest as they were going into the game as the number one seed going against the Mineral Wells who earned the fourth seed in their strong district.
Apart from the first set, it was all Lady Rams as they were able to build leads early on in the sets that the Loboettes were not able to come out of.
Loboettes Tanaeasia Brackens and Addisen Campbell had five kills each on the night with Taylyn Ledesma leading the team in kills with six on the night. Trinity Wafer added on with another four kills for the team as Mia Morin had two on the night and Hailiee Estrada was able to get one as well. Levelland was out killed on the night 33 to 21 as they had a tough task all night long.
Blocking for the Loboettes, Brackens led the team with two blocks on the night and help from Wafer as she had one as well. The Loboettes were out blocked on the night four to two on the night.
Maddie Stafford was able to get the Loboettes their only ace serve of the night as the Lady Rams had it going for them all night.
The Loboettes had a great season finishing with a overall record of 23-18 and finishing as back to back district champs in the last two years of Head Volleyball Coach Whitney Gibson.
The Loboettes will have some new faces on the team as these Levelland seniors will be gone next year; Tanaeasia Brackens, Taylyn Ledesma, Maddie Stafford, Mykka Bihl and Zoe Jordan.
