The Levelland Loboettes keep their undefeated season alive as they played against the Brownfield Lady Cubs this past Tuesday where they won 73-27, at home.
The game looked to be a very defensive game as both teams were struggling to get anything going at the end of the first quarter.
The score at the end of the first quarter had Levelland in the lead 11-9.
Fortunately for the Loboettes that was all they needed as they would not slow down on the scoring.
Defensively they were lights out as they weren’t letting up any easy buckets throughout the game and holding the Lady Cubs scoreless from late in the first quarter to the middle of the third.
Levelland would outscore Brownfield heavily as they were able to secure the win very soundly with a score of 73-27.
The leading scorer for the Loboettes was Destynii Jones who had 18 on the night.
Carly Tienda had 14 along with Lelani Sanchez who had nine and Olivia Velardez having eight.
Presley Smith and Kaylee Pinner each had seven, while Mia Morin and Kaydence Escarcega had three each.
Marleah Ruiz and Maddie Stafford were able to both get a couple of points as well on the night.
The Levelland defense played well as they forced 29 turnovers.
The Loboettes played against the Hereford Whitefaces this past Friday at Hereford.
