Lobos fall to Cubs, at home

The Levelland Lobos took on the Brownfield Cubs Dec. 12 at home where they fell, 80-50.

The team was battling from the start to finish as they found themselves in a deficit early in the game.

Although the Lobos were scoring at will against the Cubs it wasnt enough as defensively they were struggling to get a stop on Brownfield. The team was able to force six turnovers during their contest but also turned the ball over 10 times.

Both teams were equal in the block category as both had two a piece.

Levelland shot the ball well as they hit 55 percent from the charity stripe and went for 42 percent from the field.

It was a good test for the Lobos but they fell short to the Cubs making their record on the year 7-9.

The Lobos played against the Jayton Jaybirds this Tuesday at home before their released for Christmas Break.
