  • WINNER - Hockley County Soil and Water Conservation District held the 46th annual Texas Conservation Awards Program Poster Contest. This years theme was “May the Forest Be With You Always”. The Poster contest is open to all 3rd through 5th grade students within Hockley County. This years winner is Sundown ISD’s Meagan Campbell. Meagan is the daughter of Mandy Campbell of Sundown and a 4th grade student in Britni Bermea’s class.
