SPC Texan Malique Ewin named 1st team All-American

Malique Ewin of the South Plains College Texans has been named NJCAA Division I First Team All-American.

Ewin a Sophomore Forward for the Texans averaged 14.9 points per game over the span of 34 games on the season. He would shoot 62.6% from the field and a free throw percentage of 59.2%. Ewin would grab a total of 306 rebounds on the season averaging nine a game, while averaging 16.6 minutes per game as well.

The Texans would finish their season with a final record of 32-and-three overall and winning the WJCAC with a record of 15and-two. The Texans would then move to win the Region V Tournament in Weatherford, and taking the second seed in the National Tournament. The Texans would fall to the Triton Trojans in the Elite Eight of the NJCAA National Tournament with a final score of 88-to-87.
