The Levelland Track and Field team competed in San Angelo for the last district meet this past Wednesday and Thursday where the girls team placed fourth in district and the boys team placed second.
The team had many athletes move onto Area for the Lobos and Loboettes.
For the Boys side of things these are the athletes that are advancing to Area.
Ben Alvarado advances in the 100m dash. Ezekiel Arias advances in the 200m dash. Gage Potter advances in the 400m dash. Saul Hernandez advances in the 800m. Ryann Jeanneret and Saul Hernandez advance in the 1600m run. Jeanneret advances in the 3200m run as well. Eryk Jones advances in the 300m hurdles.
Ben Alvarado, Francisco Banda, Ezekiel Arias and Josh Diaz all davnce in the 4x200m Relay. Gage Potter, Saul Hernandez, Zion Childers and Ezekiel Arias all advance in the 4x400m relay.
Saul Hernandez advances in Pole Vault. Eryk Jones advances in the Triple Jump. Zarian Valderas advances in the Shot Put. Austin Ellis advances in the Shot Put and Discus.
For the Girls side of things these were the girls that were able to advance to Area.
Ariani Lopez advances in the 800m run.
Evelyn Mendias, Ariani Lopez and Emily Ramirez advance in the 1600m. Evelyn Mendias, Ariana Lopez and Avani Lopez all advance in the 3200m. Ally Monge, Zanity Sanchez, Whitney Williams and Emily Ramirez advance in the 4x100m Relay. Ally Monge, Emily Perez, Zanity Sanchez and Whitney Williams all advance in the 4x200m Relay. Brittany Rosales, Zanity Sanchez, Emily Perez and Erika Burleson advance in the 4x400m Relay.
Karina Lara advances in the 100m Hurdles.
Addi Campbell advances in the Pole Vault. Emily Perez advances in the Triple Jump. Emery Smith advances in the Shot Put. Keyleigh Barron and Olivia Velardez both advance in the Discus.
The Area Meet happened this past Friday at Abilene Wylie High School.
