South Plains College will offer a quilting orientation class at 5:30 p.m. on May 20 in Room 121 of the Technical Arts Building on the Levelland campus.
At orientation, participants will receive fabric requirements and class schedules. Online registration will also be processed during orientation night.
To register for the classes, which will take place in the afternoons and evenings starting June 3, participants must pay a $55 fee.
The class will make a quilt called 'Texas Pride.' “Come join us for a summer full of fun and for new tips and tricks to make your quilts look professional,” Vickey Vest, quilting course instructor, said.
