The Community Foundation of West Texas (CFWT) and the Hockley County Endowment (HCE) have launched the Storm Recovery Relief Fund.
This fund was established to provide a way for concerned donors to support immediate relief and continuing recovery efforts for those affected by the devastating storms on May 28th and 29th. CFWT and HCE, in close collaboration with local community partners and nonprofits that serve the Hockley County area, will work to determine the most pressing needs.
To give to the Storm Recovery Relief Fund, go to www.cfwtx.org or www.hockleycountyendowment.org or mail a check payable to CFWT, 6102 82nd Street, #8b; Lubbock, TX 79424, and reference Storm Recovery Relief Fund.
The Community Foundation of West Texas is an independent, nonprofit, publicly supported, tax-exempt organization whose purpose is to help donors meet the existing and future needs of the area’s educational, health, cultural, civic, and charitable organizations. The Foundation’s mission goes beyond social service and welfare; our donors are improving the overall quality of life in the South Plains area.
The Hockley County Endowment was created in 2006 as the first regional affiliate of Community Foundation of West Texas.
The Hockley County Endowment is led by a local board of advisors and its purpose is to address issues, identify opportunities, develop resources, and help educate donors on nonprofits in the Hockley County community.
