The Levelland Loboettes hosted the Denver City Lady Mustangs this Tuesday in their season opener where they fell in a clean 3-0 sweep.
The first set the Loboettes kept it close as they lost 25-20, dropped the second set 25-22 and lost the final set 25-21.
The Loboettes were outkilled throughout the game as the Lady Mustangs had 36 while the Loboettes had 18. Levelland was also outblocked in the game as they were able to get two but got blocked six times.
Addison Campbell led the Loboettes in the kill column on the night as she had 10. Mia Morin got in on the action as she had three kills, Diana Roman had two and three Loboettes in Hailiee Estrada, Danica Rivera and Trinity Wafers all had one on the night.
Rivera led Levelland in the service column with 11 points along with two aces and only having one fault. Campbell also picked up an ace in their contest while having five points with just one fault.
The Loboettes start off their season with a 0-1 record as they competed in the Shallowater Tournament on Friday and Saturday.
