Home Sweet HoCo music schedule

Popular musicians in the South Plains will perform during this year’s Home Sweet HoCo starting at 10:30 a.m. on Aug. 24. Attendees who want to enjoy the free music entertainment are invited to bring their lawn chairs to the Gazebo on the Hockley County Courthouse Square.

Riley Solberg will kick off the entertainment with Brent Wheeler, Mark Frandsen and Brian Tate until 11:45 a.m. Solberg is a West Texas country musician who has sung for audiences since she was four years old. She is a fourthgeneration cowgirl influenced by the country musicians of the ‘70s, ‘80s and ‘90s. Zuperado will continue the excitement from 12 to 1 p.m. Zuperado is a Norteño and Tejano band from Lubbock. The group, which features Danny Marin, Jody Serna, Tristan Serna, PJ Licon, Favian Martinez and James Rincones, will perform Norteño and Tejano classics.

From 1:15 to 2 p.m., Hadlie Jo will take the stage with Brent Wheeler and entertain attendees with her Louisiana flare. In 2023, she released her first four singles and her debut music video for “This Ole Guitar.” She has opened for artists including Scotty McCreery, Larry Gatlin, Aaron Watson and Randy Rogers.
