The Levelland Loboettes hosted the Littlefield Lady Cats this past Tuesday night where the Loboettes won in four sets.
The first set started off with Levelland taking a six-point lead off rip with their offense not being able to be stopped.
However, it would be short lived as the Lady Cats caught up and tied the game at six a piece.
Levelland would call a timeout in the first set with the score at 8-6, trailing the Lady Cats after some miscommunication to slow the momentum that Littlefield had.
The next timeout of the set didn’t come until the score was at 23-18 with Levelland trailing once more. The Lady Cats would eventually win the set, 25-18.
The rest of the game was all Levelland as they were able to take the last three sets in clean wins.
The second set was very close with a back-and-forth game with neither team being able to create distance from one another.
Littlefield called the first timeout of the second set after Levelland put together a 21-20 lead.
Coming out of the timeout, the Lady Cats called another timeout shortly after failed attempts to slow the Levelland momentum. The Loboettes would push the score to 23-20, taking two points immediately after.
The Loboettes would win the set, 25-21.
For the third set of the game was dominated by Levelland as Littlefield had to call a timeout to slow the Loboette offense after they were able to build up a 18-14 lead over the Lady Cats.
Shortly after the first timeout, Littlefield called another timeout after the well-balanced play from Levelland was able to push them through the set and win it 25-18.
The final set of the game was a complete performance from the Loboettes as they won the last set 25-11.
The Loboettes were led in service by Addisen Campbell as she had 17 points with one ace and no faults on the night.
Mia Morin had another nine points with an ace and one fault, Mia Sepulbeda had another eight points on an ace and two faults and Aubree Gaona had six points with an ace and no faults.
Levelland also outkilled and out blocked Littlefield on the night leading the kill category 4624 and the blocking category 5-3.
Trinity Wafer led the team in both categories with 13 kills and three blocks on the game.
Two Loboettes in Alison Monge and Morin both had eight kills each, Hailiee Estrada and Campbell both had six a piece, Sepulbeda had three and Gaona had two. Monge and Campbell both had a block a piece.
The Levelland Loboettes progress to 13-16 on the year as they played the San Angelo Maidens this past Saturday and get ready to play against the Estacado Lady Mats this Tuesday at home at 6 p.m.
