The Levelland Loboettes hosted the Estacado Lady Mats this past Tuesday night for district play in 4A Region 1 where the Loboettes won in a clean sweep.
The first set was good for the Loboettes as they won 25-13 after they could not be stopped offensively.
The second set was the closest set of the game with Levelland pulling through with a score of 25-22.
The last set was all Levelland once more as they won the set 2510 to take the clean sweep on Estacado.
Offensively, Levelland did well as they had 30 kills and 10 aces on the night.
Danica Rivera led the Loboettes in aces with four on the night and no faults.
Addison Campbell had another two aces along with Aubree Gaona while both Gabby Pesqueda and Mia Morin each had one a piece.
The Loboettes also outkilled the Lady Mats, 30-27, on the night but lost in the blocking category as Levelland had five on the night while the Lady Mats had seven.
Campbell led the Loboettes with 11 kills, Mia Morin had another seven, Allison Monge had five, Trinity Wafer had four and Mia Sepulbeda had two.
In the blocking category, it was Wafer that had two blocks for Levelland while Monge, Campbell and Hailiee Estrada all had one block in the team’s win.
The Levelland Loboettes progress to 2-0 in district play while going up to 14-15 on the season.
The Loboettes played against the Lubbock Cooper Liberty Lady Patriots this past Saturday as both team’s went into the game undefeated in district play.
Levelland will get ready to take on the Big Spring Lady Steers this Tuesday at home at 6 p.m. Big Spring is going into the game with a record of 3-16 on the season.
