The Levelland Loboettes traveled to Snyder to take on the Lady Tigers in district play where the Loboettes won 67-36.
The first quarter of the game had Levelland taking small sixpoint lead in a high scoring quarter as the score sat at 18-12 going into the second quarter.
The second quarter was all Levelland as their defense came alive and held Snyder to only eight points while they scored another 23 points of their own to make the score 41-20.
The leading scorer for Levelland at the halftime break was Leilani Sanchez with 15 points.
Out of the halftime break Levelland extended their lead when they outscored the Lady Tigers 14-9 heading into the fourth quarter, the score sitting at 55-29.
For the final quarter of play, Levelland held Snyder to seven points while they outscored them once more, this time putting up 12 points and taking the district win on the road.
Sanchez led the Loboettes in scoring with 22 points on the night. Presley Smith had 21 points, Emery Smith had 19 points, Brooklyn Cornish and Sydnii Joyce both had two points a piece and Mia Morin finished with one point.
Levelland shot the ball for 35% from the field while going for 42% from behind the arch. The Loboettes also shot the ball for 59% at the free-throw line.
The Levelland Loboettes move up to 21-5 on the season as they progress to 4-1 in district play, sitting tied for first place in the district. The Loboettes next game of the season is against the Estacado Lady Mats this Friday on the road at 6:15 p.m.
