Memorial services for Jose Eduardo Hernandez, 66, of Dallas, formerly of Morton, are pending, under the direction of Head Duarte Funeral Home of Levelland. Services will be held at St. Ann’s Catholic Church of Morton, with Rev. Jonathon Phillips officiating. Interment will be held in the Morton Memorial Cemetery.
He passed away August 16, 2022, in Dallas. Jose was born May 20, 1956, to Jesus and Benita Hernandez, in Morton.
He graduated from Morton High School Class of 1976. Jose continued his education at Barber College, graduating in 1978, with his certification. He was a hair stylist and barber for over 30 years in Dallas.
Jose was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church of Morton.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Sixto Hernandez and Roque Hernandez; and a sister, Flora Hernandez.
He is survived by his brothers: Ignacio Hernandez, Robert (Sally) Hernandez and Otavio (Toby) Hernandez, all of Morton and David (Norma) Tobar of Odessa; sisters: Santos Honesto, Otila (Aurelio) Honesto and Delma (Hilbert) Sepulbeda, all of Morton, Paula (Greg) Ramon and Mary Ann ( Ralph) Enriquez, both of Lubbock and Deanna (Kelly) Alexander of Enochs; and a host of nephews and nieces.
