Gordon B. Hendrickson, Colonel, USAF (retired), passed from this life on October 22, 2022.
He died leaving his wife Kim, his brother Craig (known as Randy), and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be interred at the U.S. Air Force Academy Cemetery in Colorado Springs on Thursday, May 18th, at 10:00am with full military honors. A Celebration of Life will be held at Second Baptist Church, corner of Sherman and Cherry, on Tuesday, May 23rd, at 7:00pm.
Gordy grew up in Levelland and graduated from Levelland High School in 1981. He attended the Air Force Academy and enjoyed success as a USAF officer and intelligence specialist in Eastern European affairs. He had a gentle spirit and generous heart and will be sorely missed by family and friends.
