The wait is finally over, Friday night lights returns to Texas with games beginning Thursday and Friday. The Levelland & Hockley County News-Press has put together the annual football preview that displays all the school districts and their football programs under the coverage of the news press. Levelland, Sundown, Morton, Smyer, Whiteface, Whitharral, Anton and Ropes each have an in-depth article where coaches have talked about the last season and their goals for the upcoming season in 2022.
