The Smyer Lady Cats jumped out to an early lead and never looked back in a 75-31 UIL high school girls’ basketball road win over the Loop Lady Longhorns last Monday.
Smyer led 20-6 at the end of the first period and 41-15 at halftime. The Lady Cats were leading 53-23 at the end of three quarters.
Four Lady Cats were in double figures.
Kaia Brandon had 16 points. Jada Hernandez had 14. Maegan Smith had 13. Kira Posadas had 10. Dyamond Baker and Vannah Jourdan had eight each. Rylee Riedel had six.
The Lady Cats are now 5-0 and will host Ropes on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
