The Ropes Lady Eagles took on the Lorenzo Lady Hornets at home where they won 77-41.
The first quarter of the game started off well for the Lady Eagles as they were able to start the game off with 19 points scored while only allowing 10 points.
For the second quarter of the game Ropes had their best scoring output of the game as they outscored Lorenzo 23-to-11 extending their lead before the halftime break winning 42-21.
Aubrey Bandy for the Lady Eagles led the team in scoring at the halftime break as she had 10 points, six of them coming from beyond the arch.
Going into the third quarter of play the Lady Eagles kept their foot on the has as they had added on another 20 points in the third while holding the Lady Hornets to single digits of only seven points.
For the final quarter of play Ropes wrapped up the game outscoring Lorenzo once more 15-to-13 and taking the big district win.
Only two Lady Eagles finished in double digits for scoring, Aubrey Bandy who had 22 on the night and Delyla Stark who had another 16 for the team.
Campbell Latta had nine, two Lady Eagles had six in Lacy Bloskas and Madi Reyna and two more Lady Eagles finished with five in Kandis Rodriguez and Rylee McDaniel. Bailey Turner and Mallorie Perez both finished with three points a piece and Bree Stumbo finished the game with two points on the night.
The Ropes Lady Eagles progressed to 16-6 on the season while going 2-3 in district play sitting in fourth place.
The team played Post on the road this past Friday and will face off against the New Home Lady Leopards this Tuesday on the road at 6:15 p.m.
