Lady Eagles fall to New Home

    The Ropes Lady Eagles fell to the visiting Lady Leopards from New Home 44-25 last Tuesday in UIL district 2A-5 girls’ high school basketball action.

    New Home was ranked fifth in class 2A by the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches at the time of the game.

    The Ropes ladies tied things up at nine at the end of the first quarter, but New Home began to pull away in the second. The Lady Leopards led 21-14 at half and 26-19 at the end of the third quarter.

    The Lady Eagles will be in the Caprock Tournament December 28-30.
