The Ropes Lady Eagles got a 48-37 road win over the Bovina Fillies last Friday in UIL High School Girls’ Basketball action.
Ropes trailed 18-15 at the end of the first period, but shut the Fillies down in the second to lead 30-23 at halftime. The Lady Eagles extended their lead to 4129 in the third as they cruised to a win.
Madi Reyna led all scorers with 14 points. Campbell Latta had 10. Aubrey Bandy had eight, as did Bailey Turner.
Kasidy Rodriguez and Delyla Stark had three each and Lacy Bloskas had two.
The Lady Eagles will be in Smyer on Tuesday for a 6 p.m. game.
