The Levelland Lobos traveled to Andrews this past Tuesday to take on the Mustangs where they fell 62-61 in a nail bitter.
The Lobos led most of the game up until they let up off the gas as the Mustangs were able to take control of the game with seconds left in it.
Levelland was out rebounded 38-to-29 in the game. They did lead the game in steals with 9-to-7 as their defense wouldnt give up.
The Lobos shot 45 percent from the court as they were 25 percent from beyond the arch. The were also able to shoot 60 percent from free throws compared to Andrews 69 percent.
The leading scorer for the Lobos was Jaden Castillo as he 21 points and four rebounds on the night.
Eryk Jones was able to rack up anther 19 for the team, along with four blocks and four assists.
Ozzie Salono had 10 points on the night, Sean Landrum had seven, Javier Ruiz had three and Travion Holland finished the night with two.
The Lobos played in the Denver City Tournament this weekend and will face Monahans Tuesday at home at 7:30 P.M.
