The Levelland Loboettes hosted the Monahans Lady Loboes Dec. 5, where they were able to take their 12th win of the season in dominant fashion 8024.
The first half of the game was decided from tip-off as the Loboettes got into a groove early in the game as they outscored Monahans 40-to-13 in the first half.
The leading scorer of the Loboettes at the half was Emery Smith who had 10 points with six of them coming from long range.
Going into the second half of the game it was more of the same from the Loboettes as they were able to score another 40 in the second half while only allowing 11 points.
The Levelland defense was working as they were able to force 24 turnovers and get one block on the night.
The offense was productive as well as they only turned the ball over 12 times and got blocked once as well.
The Loboettes had more assists as well as they were able to rack up 22 on the night compared to Monahans eight.
The team shot well as they went 67 percent from the free throw line and 38 percent on field goals.
The leading scorer of the night was Destynii Jones who had 17 points with seven of them coming from the fourth quarter.
Carly Tienda and Leilani Sanchez both went for 14 a piece, Emery Smith would go for another 13, Presley Smith earned herself seven, Maddie Stafford had five, Olivia Velardez had four and two Loboettes earned themselves two points in Tanaesia Brackens and Mia Morin.
The Levelland Loboettes progressed to 12-1 on the season as they will take on the Odessa Lady Broncos this upcoming Tuesday as the away team at 12:15 P.M.
