Loboette Volleyball dominates Maidens, 3-1

The Levelland Loboettes Maidens this past Tuesday at home where they picked up another win, 3-1, improving to 1314.

The Loboettes started off strong as they took the first set 25-18, showing off their amazing offense and showing hustle on the court as they were playing as a team on the court.

The second set came with speed bumps as they dropped the set 12-25.

In the third set, the Loboettes were able to pick it up and get the ball rolling again as they had a close set with the Maidens but were still able to overcome them with a score of 25-21.

The final set is where the team put the nail in the coffin and were able to subdue Seminole with their amazing hustle and heart to play and with the game with a convincing win, 25-18.

The team played well on both sides of the ball, Taylyn Ledesma was able to help put away the last set of the game with her amazing play leading the team on a six point service run.

Other Loboettes such as Tanaesia Brackens, Mia Morin, and Addison Campbell were phenomenal on the defensive side of things with Campbell leading the team in kills with eight. Morin and Brackens were right behind her with five kills each and Brackens picking up two blocks of the game with the Loboettes falling in that category 5-2, behind Seminole.

On the offensive side of the ball Ledesma was putting on her best display during service when she went 25-26 with 19 points and three aces in the game. Alexis Gardea, Campbell, Maddie Stafford, and Brackens also helped on that side of the ball as they were able to put a combined number of points of 26 to help lead the team to victory.

Gardea had two aces, Campbell had one ace, and Ledesma had three to lead the Loboettes in that category as well.

The Loboettes are rolling as they are on a three game winning streak and had a tough task this past Saturday at home where they played the Sweetwater Lady Mustangs. The Lady Mustangs went into the game with a record of 4-19.
