The Levelland Loboettes took on the Seminole Maidens this past Tuesday on the road where they lost in a clean sweep.
For the first set of the game it was back-and-forth with neither team pulling away until Levelland had to call a timeout with the scores sitting at 16-11, with the Loboettes trailing the Maidens.
Coming out of the timeout, the Loboettes took full control of the game forcing Seminole to take a timeout after Levelland closed the gap to 17-16.
Although the gab was closing, the Maidens pulled away in the end taking the first set 2521.
The second set in a similar process compared to the first set.
The Loboettes dropped the second game with the score being 25-21, making it a two-set deficit in the team’s matchup.
The third set of the game was the closest as the Loboettes almost forced a fourth set as they lost the final set of the game, 2927, to fall in a clean sweep to the Seminole Maidens.
The Loboettes were able to get seven aces while only having five faults in the game.
Leading Levelland was Addisen Campbell with 11 points and an ace. Alexis Gardea had nine points along with four aces in their contest.
Levelland did well in the kill and block column as Trinity Wafer had nine kills on the night leading the team with Mia Sepulbeda having another eight kills with a block.
The Loboettes fall to 12-15 on the season as they get ready to take on the Littlefield Lady Cats this Tuesday with District play starting against the Lake View Maidens next Saturday at home at 12 p.m.
The Littlefield Lady Cats are currently 4-8 going into their game against the Loboettes this Tuesday.
