The Levelland Loboettes took on the Lakeview Maidens this past Friday as the visiting team where they won in dominant fashion 83-15.
Right from the jump Levelland was able to grab a commanding lead as they were able to double the Maidens score in the first and take a 14-7 lead over Lakeview.
For the second quarter of play the Loboettes would not slow down as they had one of their best scoring outputs before the half as they were able to put up 24 points while holding the Maidens to only three points in the second quarter.
The score at the halftime break was Levelland leading 3810.
Leading the Loboettes in scoring was Carly Tienda as she was able to rack up seven points at the half, four of them coming from inside the paint.
Going into the third quarter of play Levelland had their best quarter of the game as they held Lakeview scorelss in the third while having their best scoring output of the game with 25 points scored.
The lead going into the final quarter of play was Levelland leading the Maidens 63-10.
For the final quarter of play Levelland would put the final touches on the game as they would outscore the Maidens 20to-5 and take the big district win to remain undefeated in district play.
Leading the Loboettes in scoring was Tienda as she finished the game with 20 points throughout the night.
Three more Loboettes finished in double digits for scoring in Emery Smith who had 12 points and Presley Smith and Leilani Sanchez who both finished with 11 points each on the night.
Two Loboettes finished the game with eight points a piece in Olivia Velardez and Destynii Jones, Mia Morin had another six for the team, Tanaeasia Brackens had three and both Kaylee Penner and Maddie Stafford finished the game with two points each.
Levelland shot the ball well as they went for 54% from the field while going for 27% from beyond the arch. The Loboettes also shot the ball well from the free throw as they would go for 75%.
The Loboettes played well on the boards as they were able to outdo Lakeview 45-to-27 on rebounds throughout the night.
Levelland was able to force 37 turnovers throughout the night while only giving the ball up 10 times throughout their contest to force their dominant win.
Levelland progresses to 27-2 throughout season play while staying undefeated in district play with a 5-0 record and remaining in first place.
The Loboettes next contest will be against the Snyder Tigers this Friday as they will host them at home at 6:15 p.m.
