The Levelland Loboettes hosted the Plainview Lady Bulldogs in UIL HS Girls Softball non-district play this past Tuesday where the Loboettes won 9-1 at home.
For the start of the game it would be Plainview to get their only point of the game from a Home Run, from there on it would be all Levelland.
Sadie Mendez would get the Loboettes first point of the game after she got to first with a walk and stole second and third base, then bringing it home after Angelica Gonzales hit a single.
The Loboettes didn’t score again until the third inning when Mendez hit a single and once again stealing second base before Loboette Adrianna Castellano hit a double to get Mendez home.
Castellano would eventually brought it home after a two out double form Madison Seat.
After their big momentum shift the Loboettes got five runs in the fourth inning of the game.
Aubriana Rivas would hit a Grand Slam with the bases loaded bringing in Mendez, Gonzales and Delgado.
For the final run in the fifth would come off of a home run from Jazlyn Diaz.
Rivas would strike out seven hitters while not walking a batter throughout the game, allowing one earned run including a homerun in the first inning.
The Loboettes progress to 11-8 on the season as they get ready for their double header on Saturday against Midland and Tascosa.
