The Levelland Loboettes finished a complete sweep of the San Angelo Maidens this past Tuesday on the road.
For the first set of the game it was all Levelland as they were rolling on offense.
The Maidens had to call a timeout late in the first set with the score sitting at 21-8. The Loboettes ended up winning the first set 25-13.
The second set was won by the Loboettes once more this time 25-15. During the game Levelland had to call their first timeout of the match with them leading San Angelo 15-11, afterwards they were back on track taking the 2-0 lead.
The final set of the game was the closest of the game as Levelland eventually still won the set 25-19 to complete their second win on the Maidens on the year.
Leading the Loboettes on the line was Addison Campbell and Aubree Gaona with 11 points each. Danica Rivera also served for 10 points with Alexis Gardea having eight points.
Levelland outkilled the Maidens 31-11 on the night with both teams having three blocks in their contest.
Trinity Wafer led the team with seven kills and two blocks.
Campbell and Mia Sepulbeda each had six kills each while Sepulbeda had the other block. Allison Monge had another four kills, Mia Morin had three, Hailiee Estrada and Gaonoa both had two each and Gardea had one.
Levelland progressed to 1817 on the season while going up to 5-1 in district play.
The Loboettes next game of district play is against the Lubbock Cooper Liberty Lady Pirates this Tuesday at home at 6 p.m.
