In the Levelland Lobos season opener against the Plainview Bulldogs the team fell 70-59, at Plainview.
The team is led by first year Head Basketball Coach Jordan Windholz and Assistant coaches Justin Tewell and Kendall Durrett.
The scoring leader for the team was Jaden Castillo who had 17 points and three rebounds on the night.
Teammates Eryk Jones and Ozzie Solano had a good night as well as Jones had 16 points, seven rebounds and six assists.
Solano was able to have a productive night as well as he had 14 points with five rebounds and he went 3-for-5 on the night from three.
Elijah Jordan added on seven points while Sean Landrum had another four in the Lobos loss.
The Lobo defense did well as they were able to force 24 turnovers while the offense only gave up 15 on the night.
The Levelland Lobos start the season off 0-1 but had a game this Tuesday where they facedoff against the Dimmitt Bobcats at home.
