The Ropes Lady Eagles fell 46-43 to the visiting Lady Owls from Hale Center in UIL High School Girls’ Basketball action last Friday.
The Lady Eagles led 15-12 at the end of the first quarter, but fell behind 26-23 at halftime.
Ropes trailed 34-32 at the end of the third period.
Aubrey Bandy and Bailey Turner had 12 points each. Madi Reyna had nine. Campbell Latta had six. Delyla Stark had four.
The Lady Eagles will play their second district game of season this Friday against Sundown as the away team at 6:15 P.M.
