The Whiteface Girls’ Varsity Track Team placed sixth and the Boys’ Varsity Track Team placed ninth in the UIL District 5 and 6 Area Track and Field Championships in Wink last week.

In the 4x100 Meter Relay, Emily Blankenship, Anais Soliz, Kambry Sanders and Lainey Sanders placed sixth with a time of 53.11.
In the 100 Meter, Arriana Soliz placed eighth with a time of 18.46.
In the 4x200 Meter Relay, Anais Soliz, Kambry Sanders, Emily Blankenship and Lainey Sanders placed sixth with a time of 1:53.22.
In the 300 Meter Hurdles, Abi Soliz placed fourth with a time of 52.82.
In the 4x400 Meter Relay, Anais Soliz, Morgan Waggoner, Kambry Sanders and Lainey Sanders placed fourth with a time of 4:23.56.
In the High Jump, Jaedyn Rector placed second with a height of 5-00.00.
In the Triple Jump, Arriana Soliz placed third with a distance of 32-03.00.
In the Discus, Bailey Timmons placed eighth with a distance of 70-02.

The team placed ninth with 38 points. In the 4x100 Meter Relay, Cesar Chavez, Issak Soliz, Jaxon Hodge and Ethan Kauffman placed sixth with a time of 45.40.
In the 110 Meter Hurdles, Cesar Chavez placed second with a time of 15.71.
In the 100 Meter, Ethan Kauffman placed fifth with a time of 11.59.
