The Whitharral Lady Panthers took a 70-52 win over the host Friona Squaws in UIL High School Girls’ Basketball action last Friday.
Whitharral was up 22-14 at the end of the first period and comfortable with a 42-26 lead at halftime. They led 63-37 at the end of three periods.
Three Lady Panthers were in double figures. Paige Smith had 23 points, Madi Chavez had 18 and Avery McCain had 10.
Valeria Frias had six points. Elizabeth Reyna and Rylee Kristinek had four each. Tyler Parkinson had three and Danae Sansom had two.
The Lady Panthers will host O’Donnell Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
