The Ropes Eagles hosted the Sundown Roughnecks for a district baseball matchup this past Tuesday night, resulting in the Eagles run ruling the Roughnecks 16-1 in four innings.Ropes held a 2-1 lead after the first inning before scoring 14 answered runs to ultimately earn the win.

The Levelland High School Tennis PACK competed at the Varsity 4A District 4 Tennis Tournament this past Monday and Tuesday at the Snyder Tennis Courts, resulting in several hard-fought results which produced a Regional Qualifier for Levelland.

Wellman-Union hosted the 1A District 5 Girls Track & Field District Championship meet this past Tuesday, resulting in several notable performances by the Whitharral Lady Panthers and Anton Lady Dawgs, which powered top two team finishes for both high school programs.

Wellman-Union hosted the 1A District 5 Boys Track & Field District Championship meet this past Tuesday, resulting in numerous great performances by the Whitharral Panthers and Anton Bulldogs, which pow- ered top three team finishes for both high school programs.

The Ropes Lady Eagles went on the road for a softball matchup against the Lubbock Christian Lady Eagles this past Tuesday, resulting in Ropes losing 15-5 across five innings.Lubbock Christian took a 7-0 lead in the first inning, then bested Ropes 4-2 in the third inning and 2-0 in the fourth inning.

The Levelland Loboettes played host to the Lubbock Cooper Liberty Lady Patriots for a district softball matchup this past Tuesday night, resulting in the Loboettes run ruling them 18-3 across three innings.
