The Sundown Roughnecks and Ropes Eagles faced off last Friday in a district rivalry game at Sundown High School, with the Eagles taking the early victory in the fifth inning.The game started fast for the Eagles, who scored five runs in the first inning.

SPC track & field shines at home meet

The South Plains College track & field program hosted the SPC Alumni Elite Invitational at the SPC track complex this past Friday, and they posted several notable times and marks at the meet.In the men’s 100-meter dash, Carlton Siwela placed fourth with a time of 10.44.
