Sundown stumbles in the second half to Eagles, on the road

The Sundown Roughnecks went on the road to take on the Seagraves Eagles in district play where they lost in an overtime nail-bitter 52-51. The first quarter of the game the Roughnecks dominated the game as they outscored the Eagles 18-to-8 to take the early lead in the game.

Smyer Bobcats fall to Sudan Hornets 80-37, on the road

The Smyer Bobcats went on the road to take on the Sudan Hornets this past Tuesday for district play where the team lost 80-37. The first quarter for the Bobcats was a slugfest as both teams were rolling offensively.

The Anton Bulldogs took on the Amherst Bulldogs on the road where they won 46-37. The first quarter of the game was a back and fourth battle between the team as Anton was barely able to get the edge over Amherst 13-to-12 taking a narrow lead.

Bobcats fall to Whirlwinds at home

The Smyer Bobcats took on the Floydada Whirlwinds this past Friday at home where the team fell 68-42. The game started off with Floydada taking a big lead in the first quarter as they outscored the Bobcats 16-to-8 going into the second quarter.

The Whitharral Lady Panthers took on the Anton Lady Bulldogs this past Friday on the road where they won 69-13. The first quarter of the game was all Whitharral as they were able to take a 24 point lead in the first due to them holding the Lady Bulldogs to no points in the first quarter.
