Pizano, Clausen earn XC All-State honors

The 4A and 2A UIL Cross Country State Championships took place on Nov. 1 at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock, Texas, and Hockley County had 11 runners compete with two athletes earning All-State honors.

Whitharral beats Anton, 78-0, wins district title

The Whitharral Panthers football team took down the Anton Bulldogs in two quarters, 78-0, to become the district champions and stay undefeated this past Thursday night.The Panthers move to 9-0 overall and 3-0 in district this season, while the Bulldogs drop to 3-6 overall and 1-2 in district.

Levelland beats Borger, 46-12, will play for district title

On Senior Night at Lobo Stadium this past Friday, the Levelland Lobos football team manhandled the Borger Bulldogs, 46-12, to move to 6-3 overall this season.

Whiteface crushes O’Donnell, 62-8

The Whiteface Antelopes charged into this past Friday’s game against the O’Donnell Eagles with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 49 points), bagging yet another district win, 62-8.

Bobcats fall to Cowboys, 20-6

The Smyer Bobcats lost this past Friday’s home district game against the Plains Cowboys, 20-6, picking up their sixth straight defeat.The Bobcats will now prepare for their challenge against the Tahoka Bulldogs. Tahoka was defeated by Sundown in their last outing.
