Little Lobos chase another ring in Jerry World

The 5u Levelland Lobos football team has been as successful as any Hockley County sports team in recent memory as they’ve already won a league championship this year.

Sundown shines in Hockley County dominated District XC meet

This past Saturday, Sundown, Smyer, Ropes, Whiteface and Morton all faced off against each other at the 2A District Five Cross Country meet at Yoakum Park in Denver City, Texas.

Whiteface beats Springlake-Earth, 82-48, in HC win

The Whiteface Antelopes earned a Homecoming win in their football game against Springlake-Earth this past Friday, winning 82-48.The shootout win makes it two-in-a-row for the Antelopes and moves them to 4-2 this season.

Most of you probably don’t know much about me beyond what you read in my introduction story when I first joined the Levelland News Press a little over two months ago.To give you some context about me, from elementary school all the way until right before I started here, I was an athlete.

Loboettes sweep Estacado in lively road environment

The Levelland Loboettes went into enemy territory and pulled off a huge sweep against their district foe the Lubbock Estacado Matadors this past Tuesday. The Loboettes won the three sets 25-13, 25-20 and 25-17 to improve to 2-4 in district play and 9-18 overall.
