1,000 Wins for Pack Seniors, 100 for Coach Braziel

Last week was historic for the Levelland Tennis Pack as the senior class earned their 1,000th total win and Head Coach Jeffrey Braziel earned his 100th career win as the Lobos coach.

Whiteface CISD resurfacing its track

After 13 years with their old track surface, Whiteface CISD is laying down a new track in what is a three-phase project.The original foundation was adequate enough to be reused, so the project is just resurfacing the track, meaning it will remain six lanes wide.

Texas Tech obliterates Oregon State, 45-14

Texas Tech football closed out their nonconference schedule with a 45-14 win over Oregon State at home this past Saturday.In those first three games, the Red Raiders outscored their opponents 174-35 as none of those games were even competitive.

Ropes destroys Sudan in HC game, 55-13

This past Friday night, the Ropes Eagles took care of business in their homecoming game against Sudan, winning 55-13, to improve to 2-1 on the season.The blowout win was a tale of two halves, as the halftime score was 19-13 and to that point the game was really competitive.

This past Tuesday at 6:15am, surrounded by only the morning darkness and a gentle breeze, the South Plains Cross Country team hit the trail for their practice in preparation for the upcoming season.
