The Whiteface Antelopes football team recently concluded their season, losing to Rankin 82-38 in the Regional Round of the playoffs.
While it may not have been the preferred ending, the Antelopes still finished with a 10-3 record and won the District, Bi-District and Area Championships in the process.
That success reflected on the team stat sheet as Whiteface recorded 155 first downs, 2,836 rushing yards, 60 rushing touchdowns, 1,135 receiving yards, 28 passing touchdowns, a 52.5% pass completion rate, 258 tackles, six sacks and a 2:53:55 time of possession.

Sophomore Ivaniel Gandara was the Antelopes best kicker with a 59% make rate on 74 PATs, followed by Jose Flores with a 56% make rate on 18 PATs. And the final statistic isn’t for a player, but for first year Head Coach Brandon Flores. He had big shoes to fill as Whiteface had back-to-back winning seasons upon his arrival, which he extended to three straight with a 10-win season.
Congratulations to Whiteface football on yet another noteworthy season.
