Three SPC Texans set for National Finals

LEVELLAND — The South Plains College rodeo program will once again be represented at the highest level of collegiate rodeo at the 2024 College Natonal Finals Rodeo, slated for June 9-15 in Casper Wyoming.All performances at the CNFR will air on ESPN3. ESPN3 is available by using the ESPN App.

The Ropes Eagles took on the Hawley Bearcats this past Thursday in Midland where the Eagles lost in two games to end their season at 24-8. Hawley 6, Ropes 3 For the team’s first game of the series Ropes fell 6-3 to the Bearcats after seven innings.

The Morton Indians took on the Ira Bulldogs this past Friday at Lubbock Christian High School in the Regional Finals where the Indian lost 11-1 after five innings.
