Texas Sales Tax Holiday Aug. 9-11

Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar is reminding shoppers they can save money on clothes and school supplies during the state’s sales tax holiday on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 9-11. This will be the 25th year of Texas’ oldest sales tax holiday.

Texas civilian labor force exceeds record high

Texas' civilian labor force reached a new record-high total in June, marking the 6th consecutive month of growth. After adding 49,100 people over the month, Texas’ seasonally adjusted civilian labor force achieved a new high of 15,311,500 in June.
