South Plains College begins offering Summer quilting orientation class

South Plains College will offer a quilting orientation class at 5:30 p.m. on May 20 in Room 121 of the Technical Arts Building on the Levelland campus.At orientation, participants will receive fabric requirements and class schedules.

Barnabas a Levite from Cyprus approached a small group of people sitting on the outskirts of town. The group spokesman told him they just arrived in the early morning from the north. He added that they traveled for three days, and the last one was without food.Barnabas welcomed them.

On Thursday, the staff of Cochran Memorial Hospital celebrated the retirement of Betty Nichols.With approximately 53 years of service to the hospital and community members, Nichols began her career as a jack of all trades.

Clovis Horse Sales set for May 17-18

The Clovis Horse Sales in Levelland will be hosted at the Mallet Event Center and Arena from May 17 – 18.Friday, May 17 the Ranch Horse Competition will begin at 10 a.m. immediately followed by a roping and cow horse demonstration.All events will be live streamed on Facebook at Clovis Horse Sales.
