Bill’s Backpacks of Levelland continues to take food and monetary donations to restock from the holiday break and going forward into 2023. For the month of April will be vienna sausages.

The Levelland Breakfast Rotary Club recently presented a $500 donation to Bill’s Backpack, a Levelland organization whose mission is to provide weekend and holiday meals for Levelland ISD students who experience food insecurity.

It was Sunday. The women went to the tomb where Jesus had been laid. They took fragrant spices (Luke 24:1). Yet, when they arrived, they found the stone had been rolled away from the tomb . . . and they could not find the body of Jesus.

Are you an aspiring songwriter? South Plains College will host a song writing contest for aspiring talent in the West Texas area. Sponsored by SPC’s Commercial Music Department, the winner of the contest will be featured during Fest Week on March 30 in the Tom T. Hall Studio.

KLB sets community wide clean-up April 1

A Community Wide Clean-Up and Recycling Round-Up has been scheduled for Saturday, April 1, according to Keep Levelland Beautiful. Volunteers will meet at 9 a.m. that Saturday in the north parking lot of Best Western Inn and Suites at 204 North College.
