LFD Report

The LFD arrived on scene around 4200 US HWY 82, where dispatched advised them of a small fire in the median at said location. Upon arrival, units for a patch of very thick grass burning that was contained to the median.

School districts within Hockley and Cochran Counties are announcing their plans for implementing the new House Bill 1481 (HB 1481), which prohibits the use of personal communication devices during the school day.

Chamber’s Cotton & Crude Fest relocates to Oxy Sports Complex
