County commissioners hold special meeting

The Hockley County Commissioners’ Court held a special meeting this past Tuesday to consider a number of requests and agreements.The Court first approved minutes for the Regular Meeting held on May 18, as well as all monthly bills and claims submitted to the Court dated through May 26.

Homeowner assistance outreach event set for June 6

The Texas General Land Office (GLO) will host a homeowner outreach event to assist Hockley County residents impacted by the 2024 weather disasters on June 6.The event will be held at the Levelland Fire Station from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
