Jennifer Palermo at the Hockley County Courthouse is thankful that everybody is able to spend time with their family.For Thanksgiving, she plans to spend the day with her mom and dad.

TxDOT provides roadwork updates

Traffic changes are coming to US 385 in Levelland next week as the Texas Department of Transportation continues to make improvements to the roadway.Crews will finish the week, by placing the first course of asphalt on the roadway, from McDonalds to the southern end of the project limits.

ROOKIE OFTHEYEARAWARD - The City of Levelland held its 55th annual Employee Appreciation Banquet Thursday at the Mallet Event Center and Arena. During the awards portion of the event, Diana Romo presented the Rookie of the Year Award which was presented to Sam Gomez. The Rookie of the Year Award is a new addition to the banquet’s award selection and will be continued moving forward. Pictured is City Manager James Fisher alongside Gomez and Romo. The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) proudly announces the graduation of eight new K-9 teams and three certified K-9 Tech Trainers, strengthening DPS’ ability to protect and serve Texans statewide.
