Levelland Council sets special meeting

The Levelland City Council will be holding a special meeting Monday, November 25, beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers.The meeting will consist of administering the Oath of Office to the incoming Levelland Police Cheif, Erica O’Bryan.

Texas’ labor market achieved a new record high in October for number of people in the civilian labor force.After adding 47,300 people over the month, the seasonally adjusted civilian labor force reached the new record high of 15,497,100.

TxDOT raises drunk driving awareness during holidays

Thousands of Texas families are devastated by drunk driving crashes every year, and the problem gets worse during the holidays.In fact, one-in-four traffic deaths across the state are caused by drunk drivers, and that ratio increases to 28% during the holiday period.

PUCT approves new rule aimed toward ERCOT

The Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT) approved a new rule requiring virtual currency mining facilities located within the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) region to register with the PUCT.
FIRST GRADE STORYTELLING - Levelland ABC hosted the annual UIL Academic Event today. These kids worked hard in and out of the classroom to stand up in front of judges to perform their Oral Reading and to complete their Storytelling.
