Hockley Grand Jury returns indictments

The 286th Judicial District Attorney’s Office announced that a Hockley County Grand Jury convened Oct. 17 and returned 10 indictments after considering cases against 13 people.Myles Andrew Casey, 32, was charged with assault of family, household member with previous conviction IAT.

Year end look, Levelland’s direction moving forward

As the City of Levelland closes out the calendar year, City Manager James Fisher touched on various aspects the municipality has handled and what the future could possibly hold for the city.

State HireAbility campaign underway

The Governor’s Committee on People with Disabilities is partnering with the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) for the ninth annual Texas HireAbility campaign to raise awareness about the benefits of hiring people with disabilities.

HCSO Report

Around 8:45 a.m., deputies were dispatched to the 100 block of Arnett in reference to a hit-and-run. Deputies collected photos and a verbal statement from the reporting party and logged the information into evidence.
