Hockley Grand Jury returns indictments

The 286th Judicial District Attorney’s Office announced that a Hockley County Grand Jury convened Oct. 17 and returned 10 indictments after considering cases against 13 people.Myles Andrew Casey, 32, was charged with assault of family, household member with previous conviction IAT.

The City of Levelland and Texas Department of Transportation have announced that College Avenue traffic construction will switch lanes beginning October 28. The next phase of the construction project will be between Dairy Queen and McDonalds. Traffic will be diverted to the west side of the road while crews work on the east side.
